A Letter from the Committee Dear Friends: On Behalf of the Scottish Rite brethren in the Valley of Moncton I extend a warm invitation to attend the 136th Supreme Council Annual Session this September in Moncton, "Hub of The Maritimes". We are excited to have the opportunity to host the annual sessions in Moncton for the first time since 1978. Since then our city has grown substantially and while we still offer the world famous Tidal Bore and Magnetic Hill attractions, we have added many more exciting venues for you to visit during your stay on the east coast. Our Convention headquarters will be at the Delta Beausejour Hotel and most of your week's activities will be held right on site. We have arranged a block of rooms with preferred rates for the Scottish Rite Masons, which should accommodate most of the attendees at the Delta. Those rates will be held for yoou only until August 14th so be sure to contact the Delta early to reserve your room. Vesper Service is being held two blocks from the Delta at the First United Baptist Church. The 1,000 seat auditorium, which features an impressive 35-stop Casavant organ, provides easy access and will accommodate up to 700 people on the main floor. The Ladies Entertainment Committee has lined up an impressive event at the venerable Moncton High School on Friday. You will find more detail on the enclosed letter from the Committee to the Ladies. Be sure to indicate your attendance on the registration form to help us with booking tranportation. To wrap up your week in Moncton you won't want to miss the Maritime Kitchen Party and lobster dinner on Saturday in Shediac, at Captain Dan's Restaurant. Not only will you be treated to fresh Maritime Lobster, you will also be entertained by the Down East music of The Old Spice Boys throughout the evening. We have been anxiously awaiting the return of the Annual Sessions to Moncton since 1978 and we promise many fond memories to take home with you when your visit is over. Sincerely and Fraternally, Barry
